Titleist announced limited-edition Black Vapor versions of its T-Series irons on July 7. They are on presale now and in shops from Thursday, July 23.
What you get
The T100, T150, T250 and T350 in a Titanium Carbide Vapor finish, bonded to the head with a vapor-deposition process that Titleist says is durable and smudge-resistant. Stock builds come with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Blackout grips and True Temper Onyx shafts. Right- and left-handed models are available, and you can custom order a blended set.
What you don't get
New irons. Golfweek's review was clear that the heads, the internal construction and the fitting are unchanged from the 2025 T-Series. This is a finish, not a redesign.
| Iron | Price per club |
|---|---|
| T-Series Black Vapor, steel | $285 |
| T-Series Black Vapor, graphite | $299 |
| Standard 2025 T100, typical US retail | about $215 |
UK price from £250 a club. Standard T100 price from US retailer listings.
That is about $70 more per club. On a seven-club 4-PW set it comes to roughly $490.
The verdict
Buy it for the look. Only for the look.
Some players find a black head makes the topline look thinner and the club slightly more compact. If that helps you stand over the ball, the premium buys something. If it doesn't, the chrome versions play exactly the same.
Also out on July 23: Vokey SM11 wedges in Black Vapor, from $249 a wedge.
